Fun Inquiry-Based Lesson with Persuasion: Ethos, Pathos, and Logos

Introduce (#1 on Worksheet): Ask students to go to YouTube to find three school-appropriate commercials and explain what the company did in the commercial to try to persuade their audience to buy their product.
New Concept: QR code this PowerPoint and this link. Ask students to read both and take notes in #2.
Reinforcement: Ask students to find one exemplar each of: Ethos, Pathos, and Logos using commercials on YouTube (#3 on Worksheet)
Showcase: Ask students to choose their best example of any of the three and share with the class using the projector.
