ABOUT

My name is Kate Petty. I left the classroom as an English/ELD teacher in 2014 to move to the district office as a TOSA and then administrator as my district deployed Chromebooks to teachers and students. I am a Google Certified Teacher/Trainer/Innovator, Apple Teacher, Microsoft Educator, and certified in Project Based Learning from the Buck Institute. I left public education to work as a Director with EdTechTeam and then AppsEvents while working with schools and districts around the globe as they moved into the digital space. I missed my students and came back to the classroom in 2021 as the middle and upper school English teacher at a small independent school in Orange County, CA. 

I love chocolate, wine, and spending time with my family...although not necessarily in that order!
