I am available to speak at a conference or professional development session at your request about the following topics:

1-2 Hour Workshops
20 Time in Education (see 20TimeinEducation.com for information)
This workshop introduces participants to Google's 20 Time and how the concept can be paired with education as a source of creativity and innovation while meeting key Common Core Standards.  Models of different implementations are discussed as well as a solid template for integrating the 20% Project in a class.

Flipping the English Class
This workshop will introduce participants to the concept of "flipped" instruction by providing three strategies that work really well in the English classroom.  Specific lesson ideas and possible projects are also introduced.  The session ends with a demonstration of screencasting and different types of software available.

Flipped Class
Like Flipping English, this workshop will introduce participants to the concept of "flipped" instruction while showing how it can be applied in various content areas.  Specific lesson ideas and top-rated web resources will also be introduced.  The session ends with a demonstration of screencasting and different types of software available.

Blogging in the Classroom
Introduce students to 21st century literacy skills by introducing student blogging in the classroom.  See how one project can meet ISTE and CCSS standards all while teaching students how to research, curate, create, and publish digitally.

Google Apps for Education: Forms in the Classroom
Tired of trying to read student handwriting?  Looking for a way to clean up the clutter of assignments and make the internet work for you?  This session introduces participants to Google Forms, discusses ways to use Forms in the classroom, and gives hands-on time for participants to create a Form.  The session ends by showing participants how to use Google Forms with QR codes.

Google Apps for Education: Introduction to Google Drive and Documents
This session introduces participants to Google Drive and gets pretty thorough with Google Docs tips.  Participants will learn how to create, collaborate, comment, publish, research and cite using Google Docs.  *If you'd like to add a hands-on element to this session see the Google Apps for Education: Docs, Presentations, Drawings through the OCDE below
