I am a CUE Lead Learner and teach classes for my site, district, and the Orange County Department of Education. I am a Google Certified Teacher, Google Apps Individually Qualified, certified in Project Based Learning from the Buck Institute, and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer. I am an active CUE member, OCCUE board member, and received CUE's LeRoy Finkel Fellowship in 2013 to pursue my work with the 20% Project and 20 Time in the classroom (see my 20 Time in Education website here). My classes have been "flipped" for years and the interesting part is that I didn't do much to officially "flip." I found that my inquiry-based classroom was already flipped and in order to fulfill essential ISTE standards, I blended my classroom with iPods and encourage BYOD. I am a heavy believer in teaching students how to be autonomous learners and create my lessons and sessions around this belief.
